COMMUNITIES IN BLOOM KINGSTON EVENTS

Quilts in Bloom – Portsmouth Olympic Harbour
May 23rd 12 pm – 8pm
May 24th 10 am – 6 pm
May 25th 11 am – 4 pm

Spring has sprung at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour as Quilts Kingston presents “Quilts in Bloom.” Communities in Bloom Kingston along with local nurseries will be sponsoring special prizes for quilts the most accurately depict flowers. The category is being judged by Mary Elizabeth Poirier and Sue Hitchcock of Communities in Bloom Kingston.

The special “Quilt in Bloom” by Elginburg and District Public School students that helped them win the Schools in Bloom Ontario competition will be prominently displayed.

Admission is $5.00

KINGSTON HORTICULTURAL EVENTS

Art in the Garden
May 31st and June 1st
The Artageous Studio Arts Program for at-risk teens and adult students announces its student art show and fundraising event, entitled, “Art in the Garden,” to be held at the Cataraqui Canadian Tire Garden Centre, located at 2560 Princess Street in Kingston. The show will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
