Whether you work for a major international corporation or own a small, independent business, you are welcome to participate in Communities in Bloom.

Communities in Bloom offers businesses several ways to participate in this annual community effort to beautify our city, celebrate our heritage, increase the quality of life, and gain national and international recognition.

  • Landscape and plant flowers outside your business
  • Plant a tree on your business property to help beautify the community and protect the environment
  • Support local arts and cultural festivals by sponsoring them
  • Create a workplace environmental program
  • Support community programs
  • Participate in Pitch In Kingston Day, or organize a clean up day for employees any time of the year.
  • Reduce and recycle waste
  • Adopt a park
  • Encourage employees to car pool or take public transit to work
  • Sponsor a not-for-profit organization
  • Promote Communities in Bloom in your company materials
